Amsoil has released two new 100 percent synthetic lubricant products. Its Dominator oil has been designed for high performance two-stroke racing engines. Interceptor is suited for high performance two-stroke or four stroke engines used in sports equipment.
The company says its Dominator oil is an exclusive formulation that has been engineered for racing and developed to lubricate and protect high performance two-stroke motors, both on and off the track.
According to Amsoil, high performance engines, particularly those that are modified, operate hotter and at higher RPM than recreational engines. It says its Dominator oil has the correct film strength and clean burning properties for “on the edge” operation, providing shock-loading common to racing applications.
Amsoil’s Australian distributor said, “A shear-stable formulation was engineered to provide maximum horsepower without sacrificing engine protection. A specially formulated additive package gives superior long-term wear protection.
Designed for maximum durability, Dominator lubrication ensures critical engine components are protected for the duration of the race. The product is available in 946ml bottles, 3.8 litre bottles and 60, 114 and 208 litre drums.
Amsoil Interceptor two-stroke oil is designed for both high-performance injector system engines and 50:1 premix. This oil contains high levels of detergent additives to prevent valve sticking, low smoke emission and prevention of pre-detonation. The company says its Interceptor oil is ideal for motorcycles, ATVs and jet skis.
