How do I clean the clear bowl?
NEVER clean the clear bowl with Windex or any type of cleaner with chemicals. The bowl will spider crack once you add the diesel fuel back in. You can only use non-chemical products (i.e., Simply Green, et al.) or we also suggest cleaning it with diesel fuel.
How do I put on the handle for a duplex filter?
To put the handle on the first time, make sure the bar is in the neutral position. The valve handle must be parallel to the filters when installed.

How should I lift the SWK 2000-130?
Use the eyelet screws to attach a chain that can then be attached to a lift. NEVER pick up by the handle as it will break.
What is the correct way to tighten a Separ lid?
Ensure to tighten screws evenly in the sequence shown.
A Separ lid, when tightened, will appear to have a space. DO NOT over tighten as this will crack the lid.
You only need to use 3-5 lbs of torque to tighten correctly. If it is still leaking, replace the gasket.

What’s the difference between single water contacts and double water contacts?
If you only have a single filter, then you need to buy the Single Water Contacts.
If you have a duplex filter, then one filter uses a set of Single Water Contacts and the second filter uses a set of Double Water Contacts.
Which element do I need?
On the front of the filter housing is a white and blue label. This shows model number and part number for the replacement element. If the label is not visible or your filter does not have one, you can click on the models and spec button of this website and click on the appropriate sized filter to find out which element you need.
Why did the yellow tab break off?
Make sure to push the drain valve down and turn to the left. Otherwise, you will break off the yellow tab when tightening.
